Epicenter /The Big Bang
Duane's most recent hanging piece
was "conceived" with the use of
branches strangled in nature by
vines and with welded steel to form
a magma-like encasement that
surrounds its "epicenter".
At its center or core is a fiberglass,
resin sphere from which the
magnetic-like rays of this piece
emanate radiantly toward the
viewer, as if orbiting in its own life
force.
